Isabeli Bergossi Fontana was born in Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil , July 4, 1983. In 1996 she made it to the finals of the Elite Model Look when she was just 13 and in the following year she moved from South of Brazil to Milan, Italy, to start her modelling career.

In 1999, at the age of 16, she appeared in the Victoria's Secret lingerie catalogue. The shoot caused controversy, as Victoria's Secret stated that they would not use girls younger than 18. Soon after the Victoria's Secret shoot, she was signed by Versace, Ralph Lauren and Valentino.

Ambrosio was born in Erechim, Brazil on April 11, 1981. Her parents, who are of Italian and Polish descent, own a petrol station. Ambrósio was just eight years old when she decided that she wanted to be a model, after seeing a picture of top covergirl Karen Mulder in a magazine: "I wanted to be like her", she recalls. She enrolled at a modelling class at the age of 12 and at the age of 14 she was one of 20 finalists for an elite modelling competition in Brazil. Early life and career

Goulart was born on October 23, 1984 in São Carlos, São Paulo, Brazil. She is of Italian and French descent and has four brothers and one sister.Goulart once said "the hardest part about being an Angel is I spend time away from my mom's food and away from my home with my five brothers and sister."School was a particularly rough time for Goulart, as she was made fun of for her skinny build, and was even called names such as "giraffe".

While shopping for groceries with her mother at age 14, a hairstylist suggested that she should become a model. She moved to the state's capital São Paulo and started modeling.
