BIOGRAPHY AND CAREERPawan Kalyan born 2 September,1971 in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India is an Indian film actor working in Telugu cinema. He has starred in several critically and commercially successful films and has established himself as one of the leading actors in Telugu cinema. Kalyan is trained in martial arts; he holds a black belt in karate and has displayed his skills in several of his films.
Pawan Kalyan was born in Nellore, to Sri Konidela Venkat Rao and Smt Anjana Devi. He is the youngest brother of actor Chiranjeevi and actor-producer Nagendra Babu.
Pawan Kalyan married married Renu Desai, an actress who co-starred with him in the movies Badri and Johnny. Renu Desai and Pawan Kalyan have two children: a son named Akira Nandan born in 2004, and a baby girl named Aadhya born in 2010.
His commercially successful films include Suswagatham (1998), Tholi Prema (1998), Thammudu (1999), Badri (2000), Kushi (2001) (for which he additionally choreographed some action sequences) and Jalsa (2008). As of November 2010, he is working on his next movie, titled Theenmaar. He has also signed for a movie based on the life of Jesus Christ with the director Singeetam Srinivasa Rao; it will be released in Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi and English
