It's that time again, as you can tell by the photo, so I'll be scarce (and have been already) for a bit.But a quick update on the 2009 Battle of the Garden.
Remember the groundhog trap? Nothing! I've added tasty lettuce, celery and squash--not even a nibble! I've even tried moving the trap to different areas in hopes of luring Mr. Groundhog. I'm beginning to wonder if I have falsely accused him this year. My partner wonders if some caterpillars or slugs or something chewed up a few of the plants. Since then, nothing else has been touched.
It could be a plan by Mr. Groundhog to lull me into carelessness! Don't worry--I'll keep watching....
