So my return to blogging was premature, but here I am again. Most of the workload is gone, although next week will be busy as well since I'll be out of town for 2 straight days.In the meantime, I'm easing back into blogging. I've been intending to post on this wonderful artist, David Hewson, that I discovered over at Jesus In Love. What you see here is the 2nd panel of 3 Hewson created for a hospital. It's titled "Connections" and shows the smallest beginning of life transform into much more complicated organisms.
I love the juxtaposition of stars and the cosmos against strands of DNA and butterflies in various states of metamorphosis. And it's gilded--very fancy! Hewson has a variety of these gilded panels and he does quite a bit of work with religious themes. I plan to post others in the coming weeks that catch my eye.
