Of course, some Bush administration hack threatened that the White House may push for a federal amendment to the Constitution defining marriage as only between a man and a woman. Oh, don't get me started! The Republicans wail about the importance of state's rights, but then change their tune when state's start taking the lead. Besides, Bush isn't going to do anything in his last 100 days except slip away quietly.
